  Previously insured our son's car as part of a multi-car policy. Thought renewal premium was extremely high, checked out comparisons and found 1st Central. So far so good, excellent premium, via comparison site, saved £100's against previous insurer whose Auto-Renew premium was about £500 more than 1st Central!!! All documentation has come though with no problems. Like most insurance companies once they have your email address they use it!!! Having seen some comments about customer service being poor can't comment other than to say that in nearly 40 years of dealing with numerous insurance companies if you are reasonable and polite to them they are usually fairly good - none of them are that quick sorting claims out but that's usually the fault of the legal people involved not the companies involved. If the premium you get quoted is competitive give 1st Central a try, at least you can save money!

  All seemed well and easy at first. Tried to move house half way through the policy and with the update of address wanted to charge me half my premium AGAIN to move. Got a refund on another vehicle policy as it’s a safer area. Go figure. Will be cancelling and taking my business elsewhere.
